High Definition: A Higher Resolution Than Traditional Formats 

Characterized by chunky over-driven guitars, dynamic percussion, energized keyboards, and pounding bass, High Definition strives to reach a generation of people who connect with God through a modern style that brings honor & glory to God, our Creator.

Stylistically, High Definition can be likened to that of Hillsong United, Passion Worship, Jeremy Camp, David Crowder, Barlow Girl, and others.  While familiar worship songs and occasional hymns are incorporated into their repertoire, High Definition is anything but traditional. Through an edgy, modern and intentional experience certain to draw all that attend into an intimate time of worship, their goal is to communicate the unchanging Gospel message of salvation through faith alone in Jesus Christ and to challenge the body of Christ to live transformed lives for Christ from the inside out.

Grounded in the truth of God’s Word, High Definition holds themselves accountable to these three principles in Scripture:

1. High Definition Worship:  “Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy!” ~ Psalm 33:1-32.

2. High Definition Living:  “Live a life worthy of the calling you have received.” Ephesians 4:13.~

3. High Definition Relationship:  “And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God.” ~ Colossians 1:10 

Greg Hitchcock, Co-Founder of High Definition, says, "Every action in our daily lives is an opportunity to worship our Creator. Our love for God should be seen in everything we do as a gift offered back to Him.  We consider this ‘Lifestyle Worship', based on Romans 12:1-2 which says: 'So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.”’
