About Heather Hitchcock...

Rooted in Christ.
Raised in a Christian family in New Albany, OH as the
youngest of three siblings, Heather accepted Christ at the age of 8 years old
during Vacation Bible School week, and grew up actively participating in the children’s and youth choirs, and as a
student leader in the church youth group under the leadership of her Mom and
her Dad, a bi-vocational Youth Pastor.
At the age of 16, during a spring revival at her church, Heather
acknowledged God’s calling on her life to use her gifts in the area of music
ministry and evangelism. Soon after that call, the Lord provided opportunities for Heather
to speak and sing at churches for worship services and special events in and around the Columbus, OH area. Pursuing her calling, Heather
attended Taylor University in Upland, IN after graduating high school, where she majored in Christian
Education and Vocal Music Performance. While a student at Taylor University, Heather sang in the Taylor Chorale, and utilized her music and speaking ministry to minister to churches in the Upland, IN area.
Engaged In The Local Body of Christ.
After college, Heather returned home to Ohio where she continued to serve in ministry at FBC Groveport, OH, as the
Director of Women’s Ministries, Interim Music Director, worship choir and worship team vocalist, and Assistant Leader to the Pastor of Worship Ministries. Additionally, Heather and her husband, Greg, served as the Lead
Worshipers for the Saturday Night Worship Gathering at FBC Groveport, OH for over two years.
Going Where He Leads.
Beyond her local church involvement, Heather previously served
as a State Consultant for Women’s Enrichment Ministries for the State
Convention of Baptists in Ohio. For
three years, Heather also served as a consultant in the area of Women’s Evangelism Education as a HeartCall Evangelism Leader of Leaders in Ohio for
the North American Mission Board (NAMB).
Passionate
for worship, Heather has been given many opportunities to provide special music and worship
leading for church, associational, and state women’s ministries events such as the Dayspring conferences and state-wide women's retreats at Seneca Lake through the State Convention of Baptists in Ohio (SCBO). In 2009, she and her husband, Greg, were
commissioned as missionaries through the
North American Mission Board in the area of church worship strengthening to increase the impact of their speaking and
worship consulting ministry, One Voice
Worship.
Creative Ministry.
Heather is also an author of creative and
inspirational writing and Bible studies that have been published and taught at
local, associational and state women’s ministries events. Her most recent writing endeavors include authoring a

disorders, self-harm, and depression, rooted in her own battles and recovery
found in Jesus Christ, as well as an autobiographical work on the topic of
lifestyle worship, based on the unique life story she shares with her husband.
Finally, Heather is currently pursuing
